Greetings and Blessings to everyone! Faith Formation at St. Mary Parish is in the
midst of a transformation! We are moving toward a process that is centered on the
formative events of the Catholic community and the participation of all ages and
generations in the shared experiences of Church life. This process of faith formation
will be known as Celebrations of Faith. It is centered on the life of the Church
and builds connections among the generations, reinforcing our common identity as
Catholics. Celebrations of Faith provides the foundation upon which to build an
ongoing support system at home and in the parish for the development of a quality
Catholic faith life. Celebrations of Faith will include a FREE meal, church teaching,
age group breakout sessions/activities, and sharing. All you have to is show up!
Celebrations of Faith will take the place of regularly scheduled Faith Formation
for children and youth during the weeks that it meets, so all regular Faith Formation
families will be asked to attend. These meetings will be a regularly scheduled event
on Children's Faith Formation and Youth Ministry calendars, so you won't have any
conflicts. You may also choose the day you wish your family to attend - Wednesdays
6:00-8:30pm or Sundays 2:00-4:30pm. Don't forget that FREE meal! You won't have
to worry about cooking that night. Take some time to read through the listed opportunities
available to you and your family. You will find the regular Faith Formation opportunities
for children, youth and adults in this brochure. Enclosed in this mailing is also
a brochure and sign up form for our first Celebrations of Faith opportunity. Don't
forget to fill it out and return it with your registration form. If you are unable

FEE SCHEDULE FOR YOUTH FAITH FORMATION
Levels K-12
Our fee schedule is based on the number of children per family enrolled in our program(s)
and 15 service/share hours volunteered by each family. For descriptions of and to
sign up for volunteer service/share hours, please see the enclosed “Faith
Formation Share Hours” form. As an additional savings to you, we are offering
an EARLY BIRD discount to all that register by Sunday, August 22nd.
Refer to the chart below for your discount. If this fee schedule is beyond your
means, please contact us as soon as possible. No one will be denied enrollment because
of inability to pay. (Full scholarships are available for catechists).
REGULAR FAMILY RATE EARLY
BIRD DISCOUNT RATE (pay by Aug. 22nd)
- One Child $55.00 + service/share hours with discount $50.00 + service/share
hours ($5 savings!)
- Two Children $90.00 + service/share hours with discount $75.00 + service/share
hours ($15 savings!)
- Three or more Children $110.00 + service/share hours with discount $90.00
+ service/share hours ($20 savings!)
NOTE: The above fee schedule is based on the signing up and volunteering for
a minimum of 15 hours per family. The “actual” cost per child is approximately
$100.
