The primary responsibility of the parish finance committee is to assist the pastor in planning, reviewing, and recommending financial income and expenditures for all the areas of parish life. Meetings are monthly. The parish runs for a fiscal year (July to June). It is the critical function of the committee to assure the financial stability and long‐term financial health of parish finances. Additionally, because of the size and complexity of the parish buildings and properties, short-term and long-term maintenance assessment and planning is a necessary exercise of stewardship.
