We are now fully into the Lenten Season.  It is a time of both penance as well as a time of welcomed time of reflection.  This is a chance for us to focus on the gift of Christ’s sacrifice and God’s incredible love for us in this Jubilee Year of Mercy.

If you would like support and a greater sense of community, we welcome you to join in the parish community events; Stations of the Cross and Soup Supper are a tradition on Friday evenings during Lent.  Bring your family and join others in reflecting on the 14 stations, and find personal insight to Christ’s sacrifice.  Then join as a community to have some fine homemade, meatless soups and time with friends, 6:00pm on Fridays during Lent.

Individual reflection of Matthew Kelly’s book REDISCOVER JESUS is encouraged.  If you would like a copy, we have free books available at the Parish Office building – both in English and Spanish.

Consoling the Heart of Jesus is a group that starts Feb 15, and runs for 10 weeks through April 18th. This will be a small group retreat format with readings and weekly meetings, for more information click here.

The solemn events of Passion Sunday and Holy Week remind us each year of the Passion of our Lord.
