Mark Dol

Mark oversees the management of ministries and staff at the parish and has been part of the team since August 2020. His main role is to assist the pastor in running the parish from the practical side. Mark has been a St Mary Parish Community member since 2013 and has volunteered time in various areas, especially in the liturgies as one of the sacristans with our live streaming setup to provide Mass for the Homebound.

Before coming to St. Mary, Mark served as director and facilities manager at the Fr. Bernard Youth Center, and in his first years in the USA, he served as director of youth ministry in the Santiam Vicariate. 

Mark is a Chef by trade. After working in his homeland of New Zealand for several years, he joined a Catholic Lay Mission (the Institute for World Evangelization-ICPE Mission), where he served with his wife for over 34 years in Germany, Italy, and Malta before being sent to Oregon to pioneer a branch of their Mission organization here. Mark is married to Patricia, and they have a grown son, Joshua, who is currently serving as an Officer in the United States Air Force.
